The unique design inspired by the avant-garde style of the Retro era was the creation of the proprietor while living in Germany in the 1970s. Known for its amazing craftsmanship, the jewelry shop was inspired to make this suite into the masterpiece it is now. The barrel-shaped earrings were crafted into circular discs starting with one channel set with deep lush red beautiful step-cut Burma rubies with the next disc alternating with bright white and sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds. To give these earrings more contrast, the diamonds were set in white gold, while the rubies were set in yellow gold. The extended curved, polished gold tube which hides the clip-back is flexible to the bottom of the earring, giving it movement on the ear.
